Schools - How does it work?
Retreats for schools and youth groups are in a facilitated style. Participants grow through working in both small and large groups. Working through a sequence of games, icebreakers, theming, reflection, meditation and prayer, students explore group and individual issues as they arise. We find that recurring concerns are peer pressure, morality, substance abuse, bullying and family breakdown.
Programmes are flexible, giving ample time to deal with issues and concerns as they arise. Genuine concerns are addressed and participants are encouraged to examine these concerns with respect to their relationship with themselves, with others, and with God. For many students, they get their first introduction to the spiritual journey through life.
YOUTH GROUPS
At MUSTARD SEED we have found that all programmes are suitable for youth groups and community groups and offer an enlightening journey for all involved.
