A typical 1-day retreat will work within the parameters of a normal school day
All of our retreats are based in a 3 stage experience.
Stage 1 Focuses on the relationship with Others.
It starts with all students together, where icebreakers address barriers within the group. It is at this stage that the generative theme comes out into the open. They see the impact of their relationships on their attitudes. We draw this out through music and story and close the phase with a reflection.
Stage 2 Relationship to Self (the facilitated phase)
During this phase students may divide themselves into smaller groups or if more appropriate we may remain in the larger group. They can explore here, their attitudes in the light of their Christian values.
Stage 3 Relationship with God
This session, in spite of being the most personal, is done in the large group. It will include some of the following Reflection, meditation, personal prayer, music and / or paraliturgy.
