This is a very special retreat experience. It aims to enriches and transform a school.
It takes place within the school environment and includes daylong retreats for each year. Final year students start on Monday with a new yeargroup each day, finishing with a half-day for first years. This leaves a half-day for the entire school to come together where each year group makes a contribution to the closing ceremony or liturgy.
During the week there is an evening for parents to give them a taste of the experience so that they too are part of the retreat. It enables them to meet the team and deepens their understanding of the experience of their children.
They share a similar experience to that of the students, to foster their own personal and spiritual growth.
This parents' night, is also available to coincide with the other types of school retreats.
When we give a parents night we offer back to back with it an experience of Taizé style prayer around the cross for students who would like to come.
